About a month ago, my husband, Jake, began taking classes at Jivamukti and coming home with glowing descriptions of the yoga hotties with perfect posture and cameltoe.
The confused yogi was expecting to hang out with their bolster and blocks in chill, non-threatening poses like supta baddha konasana. But now they feel all kinds of overwhelmed as everyone around them is mastering the crap out of their ujjayi breath and its synchronization to their sun salute A series. Though these timid yogis are tempted to roll up their mats and call it a class, they opt out of bailing on the one thing they were looking forward to all day.
